There's nothing wrong with your monolith

You don’t have to rewrite it into microservices.

You don’t have to turn it into a service mesh.

Unless you have to.

Unless you have high-availability or scalability requirements.

Unless you’re ready to deal with the complexity that comes with a distributed system.

You don’t have to follow the trends.

If you still want to do it, I hope you either have the headcount and the skills to alleviate the pain coming your way.

Or that you’re willing to pay for managed services and make some of it go away.
